Officially born in 2009, with the signing of the statute of the association “Agricoltori Custodi della Comunità del Cibo a Energie Rinnovabili della Toscana”, thanks to an agreement between Slow Food Toscana, Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity and CoSviG, the Consortium for Development of the Geothermal Areas, a public-sector body, which has been operating for many years in the field of promotion and implementation of initiatives consistent with programs for the sustainable development of geothermal territories and the entire Region of Tuscany.
